Aquager is a student-founded startup born at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago with a simple belief:
Access to fresh, healthy, organic produce is a right — not a privilege.
Built inside IIT’s Kaplan Institute, Aquager grew through two consecutive startup accelerator programs and later advanced through Future Founders Bootcamp Phase 1 and Phase 2. These programs shaped our mission, sharpened our design approach, and helped us understand one of the biggest problems facing individuals today: the rising cost of fresh organic food and the lack of easy access to it year-round.

Hydroponic systems have always looked like appliances. We redesigned the entire experience.
Our farms use a premium wooden furniture design, concealing the internal components so they can complement any home, apartment, or studio. This is our core secondary benefit — home farms should look beautiful, not industrial.
